  Different cinemas different quality one..
  
  how to keep the words from fading away? Laminate?

  Used to collect when I was a kid, then realised no point coz Shaw use cheapskate tickets that fade away in exactly one week.

  so when next time he said we watched this movie b4,
  i have evidence, and can say
  "no lor! our stubs dun have this movie!! who u watched with?!?"

  HEY! I do that too..But besides the point of "catching" my bf, it's also for memory sake. Actually GV also the same. I put the stubs in those bind plastic photo album. They will also fade..

  i thought they save ink and use thermal paper?? that's why it fades

  In recent years, the operators have changed their ticket stubs to be printed using thermal paper for speed and cost saving...
  
  I don't keep my ticket stubs, always throw them away unless it's for some memory sake... But I only scan and upload them to my blog...
