Sad to say, when i get older, it's more to "what people make you to be". Though i try not get influenced by others, i am still what people make me to be.
As you grow up and come out to work, have wife, or even kids, you are not yourself anymore. You are "your wife's husband", "your son's father", "Your company's staff", "Your countries's citizen"
When i was young, there's not much i have to care about except myself.
But when you have a wife, you have to consider about her, try to satisfy her needs finacially, mentally, sexually.
When u have a kid, though he/she is not trying to "influenced" you, but he will somehow influence your decisions.
When you are in a company, esp when u are in a big one, you are the one who should adapt to the company, change yourself to suit the working enviroment, you cant change to whole company to suit you, so who you are, how you behave, how you do things, how you make decision etc are influenced by the company.
Hmm... Somehow very true...?
