Experience and errors

Does being more experienced makes one more prone to errors?
Because I find myself making the same mistake over and over again. Just like today's test, I've forgotten that not all words will have the letter "e". I made this freaking mistake, wasted a lot of time and threw my marks off.

Because it was some pattern recognition stuffs. I saw the cipher text had a particular letter which was high in frequency... I assumed it's the letter "E", as E is the most common letter in English...Originally posted by allentyb:hmmmm
