I am serving my NS now .. then i got into NTU Mech engine direct entry to second year.. i am wondering should i retake the first year coz considering i had returned almost everything to my poly lecturer liao..

Even if you start from scratch, you still have to take back everything, so doesn't really make a diff.

seriously, u shld go directly to 2nd yr
coz yr 1 is full of common engrg modules which i think doesnt really help in
revising
the only thing to watch out is ur mathematics that all
maths is the language for mech engrg
