Yah he was trying to push responsibility as he was a coward. So if his friend picked a bad number, not his fault, is his friend's fault.
IF I were his friend, I would tell him to go pick the bloody number himself and stop shirking responsibility. After all, whatever number I pick is YOUR money, not mine.
