Hair cut

Anyone here has experienced bad hair cut from hairstylists? I have many experiences like that.
I don't wanna have anymore octopus hair cut. Those good hairstylists who are good at cutting my hair had left and no where to be found. Sad!
Is anyone here kind enough to recommend me hairstylists who are good at cutting long hair?

I go to It's Hairy at Far East once a month, look for noreen. She's a senior stylist there. She charges around 45 per haircut, but it's damn worth it.

My problem is hairstylists are very fond of cutting my hair very thin at the end, when I told them this is not what I want they still went ahead to cut the same for me. Well, I'm a guy so my hair's not long.
But I assure you that I saw her cut the hair of long hair babes and they look fine.
Well, if she ain't any good, I'd not be sticking with her for say 3 years + now -
Yes, bad experiences I had had aplenty but they are happily in the past these days coz I always go back to the same hairdresser until she knows exactly what I want and it's one happy visit after another these days!

I have my mum cut my hair.
I always never get the haircut i wanted.
Each time i show the picture, they gimme diff haircut.
That stresses me the most. -

i swear i will never ever take those 10 dollars hair cut again -
happen before...years ago..
but now i keep short hair so...its ok..how they wanna cut..as long its not out of shape or what

for so many times I tried the $10 cut, only one hairstylist is good. They are not really up to standard. So I have given up going to them.Originally posted by allentyb:

Most of the time, I request them not to cut "octopus" hairstyle for me as the shape of my head does not suit this sort of hairstyle. But they always end up giving me "octopus" hairstyle, so infuriating!!!! Layering a lot is fine with me as I have a lot of hair, but they love to cut the lower part of my hair very thin. so end up my hair is heavy on the upper part and very thin on the lower part, and this makes me look like "octopus".Originally posted by MooKu:You mean they layer a LOT is it?
