Yes. I set fire on an ant nest once. I applied liquid paper to a grasshopper I caught. And also we catch red ants and put small black ants in and watch them fight.
Spiders not counted as insect, but I catch them too. For the record, spiders are afraid of red ants.
One big red ant will charge at a spider. The spider will run. I tried it.
MEal worm for sci lesson. I pour salt over slugs and snails before. -

I used to catch giant praying mantis, the kind thats about 10cm long, and put them on my head for fun

I kept a baby praying mantis before and fed it with flying ants. It even shed its skin once.
I have also kept cockroaches and catapillars in bottles.
And I have tried rearing tadpoles -

I kept spiders during primary 3 cuz last time sch got field inside alot then whole school catching at tt time ...
Now my room got alot ants i simply squish them with scotchtape then stack them up and then stick together with another tape and preserve it in freezer.

i remembered my mom said when i was abt 5/6 years old i accidentally swallowed an earthworm...
But i cant remember eating any of these... Also, i remembered when i was abt P2/P3 i used to like to catch grasshoppers and pull their back limbs lol... -

keep spiders ... but the bottle has a few drop of 100 Plus inside . The when finally catch the spider , the spider lost its grip and fell onto the 100 Plus and drowned .

My hobby when I was young was to sit on the kitchen floor and hunt for ants. I'll squash them whenever I spot them.
