How would you feel if

there is a retrench in your department and you are the one forced to come up with the namelist?
Anybody had this experience? -
i would come up with the namelist and ask them to blame the management
nope i never occur this sort of thing before -
Ask for volunteers?

Ya, worst of all i know of the personnal problems they face, e.g just started family, financial crisis at home, and still have to break the bad news to them..

Me ever needed to come out with a nominal list of people to retrench from my former company due to restructuring...
First on the list me put down my name and secondly put down my boss's name...
So when submitted the list to my boss, he was shocked to see the list and asked me why... So me told him because of his incompetence and poor leadership, that's why his name was on the list also...
From then onwards, no one from the department was retrenched but redesignated to other departments...
