beijing Badaling Great Wall ,when u start to climb , dont buy any cert , plaque or souvenior , all very expensive !!!!!!!! walk all the way to the dead end of the whole journey , the thing there are much cheaper , and the stamp for certificate is real , oh... you got to pay for the cert too
Bring own water or little food along when visiting place of intrest , they tend to sell drinks and snack expensive.
if you are going with a guide , they may not bring u to a wad wad medical hall but will intro their medical cream , the say is national treasure , call BaoShuLing cream. cost around 100rmb +- for a small one ba. Cant confirm how good is it but no recomended

There one shopping in beijing forget call wad name , but i can say all are fake goods, the place u wan buy thing hor , must bargain alot , eg. t-shirt 50rmb , u offer them 20 , they will argue and then say not sell you , dont get taken by them , walk away tell them buy other thing , the will put u back and negotiate again. My friend buy thumbdrive from 2000rmb kill all the way to 300rmb, pro ba

Supposedly you can't even walk on the street without bumping into some FT/Chinese from China, so you should have known PRC Chinese by now. If not, then it's about time to make friends with one from Beijing. Nothing can be more helpful than a local you can trust. -

Last time i go with my auntie at first the shirt 200RMB can negotiate unil 10RMB.
And no matter what you do, do not put your things on the table or on the floor. Even if you are watching it. Sometime some random cbk will just come snatch and run. Same goes for wallet, dont take your wallet out big big then count the notes. -

If you into buying tea , do some research , which part of china and where grow which type of tea , then go that part of china buy from the tea leaves factory. If you got a china friend , ask them bring for you. That what my dad alway do

when you go for meal , remeber what thing u bring along , and keep checking if you valuable still around , coz there alot pickpocket , and if you forget to take anything and recalled it 5min later elsewhere , then prepare to say bye-bye , chances are the stuff will be looted away. And no way to recover it , the finder wont return one
If you find any bookstore there , one of the book most worth buying will be beijing pratical tourist guide , sometime guide dun explain fully , it better to do own research
If you'll lucky enough , you may have chance to see bing bao (hailstone ??)
it can be as small as a grain of rice , may be as big as a tennis ball
