Juz wan share a recent experience.
Last week i responded to an ad for a job post. The salary was quite high.An interview was arranged next day. It was at Tuas.The lady said someone would pick me at Lakeside MRT.Only when i reached the MRt then i realised the lady (she not there) and the driver were from an employment agency. (I never never like to go through agencies as i have some issues and these agencies usually very troublesome)..But since i already there, go look look see see..
Its a big big organization. The person interview me there was a nice man who was clearly impressed by me and he wanted to hire me immed.I told him my issues. he said sure, he will let the HR know,sure no prob. He then left to let his HR manager speak with me. The HR guy said he will let me know the confirmation tmr through the employment agent.
Next day morning,agent called, said i was employed and start on Monday.
Few hour later she call me say HR called her regarding my issues said i need to settle them soon.I told her everything had been agreed by the nice department head who interviewed me.She say HR say no,muz settle.But she will check again and call me.
afternoon:agent called me say everything OK! Start monday.
half hour later call me:HR say ok but still muz settle those issues
I was so pissed i said:''Forget it lah!'' and slammed the phone.
(I could see the agent did not try to help me secure the job at all)
The sense of disappointment was very very great, like something yours liao yet just gone...
