u encounted b4 with those tamil songs?Originally posted by RvnRooRon84:I find this very annoying and inconsiderate; I believe most of you hve encountered kids, students in busses or MRTs blasting off their handphone ringtones or music, oblivious to their surroundings and people around them. The volume is too loud that its actually quite incomprehensible to make out the lyrics, not just the tune! All the more, early morning busrides which meant to be peaceful, are spoilt by these inconsiderate people and their handphones!
On so many occasions I feel like politely telling them to be considerate.
Anyone have any thoughts abut this?

Who is to say which behavior should be allowed only? You tell the Ah Beng to reduce the volume of the music he is blasting and you preobably get a verbal barrage of abuse and obscenities and perhaps even get whacked....
Best thing that we can do is to tolerate and ignore them. Instead of feeling irritated, perhaps the better way to deal with it is to thank them for showing us how much more refined we are compared with them!
Ah Bengs are out to attract attention by all means. Without attention, they will starve and die. So ignore and pay them no mind. They will instead be irritated by our behavior and get frustrated with us for our nonchalance!![]()
Or try Da Bei Zhou and other Buddhist chants, hope that can purified their minds.Originally posted by Chin Eng:one of these days, I might be tempted to play Cantonese opera from my phone when seated next to one of these kids.

go to MDA, ask them to issue you a pass. Next time you flash it to those kids & confiscate their phone for illegal broadcasting of music without proper licensesOriginally posted by RvnRooRon84:I find this very annoying and inconsiderate; I believe most of you hve encountered kids, students in busses or MRTs blasting off their handphone ringtones or music, oblivious to their surroundings and people around them. I dont think ignoring them is the best way to go. Its because we ignore them they continue to do this. We need to tell them nicely to turn it down/off and if they refuse tell them to turn it the f*ck down or u'll take their phone and shove it so far up their ass it's gonna take a professional team of surgeons a helluva long time to get it back out.Originally posted by :Just as you want peace and quiet, others want to blast their music and be irritants.
