actually who r the winners of star search 2005?
frankly speaking i feel dat star search is not as grand as before.
maybe they should scrap the 6 winners n make it only top 3 to make it more like Battle of the sexes. then it will be more exciting. -

20 contestants compete for top spot in Star Search 2007
SINGAPORE: The search for the brightest star in the local Mandarin entertainment scene is back after a four-year break.
"Star Search 2007" was launched on Tuesday evening.
Gracing the occasion was Dr Balaji Sadasivan, the Senior Minister of State for Information, Communications and the Arts.
The 20 contestants in this acting competition come from Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan and China.
The winner will walk away with $25,000 cash, $4,000 worth of products and a two-year contract with MediaCorp. - CNA/ir -

Because Quan Yifeng said in her blog that someone asked her and Guo Liang if they have "done it together" and make lewd jokes about them. She also claimed that he asked her if she wanna appear as an adult show host with him. This, plus the fact that he had erratic behavior as a judge, caused a huge uproar. He would from time to time wipe out his camera and take photographs of the contestants while ON-AIR, gave what people deemed as irrelevant comments and that he seems to favor 1 or 2 contestants and talked a lot about them, while not giving 2 hoots to the rest.
