Would you save?

Just a random question which comes to my mind....
Let's say and imagine you're a doctor.... You're escorting a patient somewhere.. You're following the standard protocol and everything's fine initially... Then suddenly the patient's condition turned for the worse and requires you to do something out of the protocol (something which might seriously land you into deep sh|t if anything goes wrong) in order to stand a CHANCE to save the patient's life.. You know that the patient would be a goner if you don't do anything like that, but there'll be much high risks involved if ya do. (plus, you cannot answer to it if you attempt that thing which might save patient's life)
So the question finally would be fairly simple...? Would you try to save the patient? -

Of course I would! Although I may be disregarding protocol, if the patient stands a reasonable chance of surviving, I would take that risk. Because otherwise the patient will be a goner, won't he........?

To continue discussion of this, we have to first ascertain 1 important fact: Did the patient die as a result of the use of unconventional method of life-saving or from some other cause? Under the law, the causal link of death is paramount.
If the patient dies as a result of the unconventional method of life-rescue, then yes, the doctor will be in deep shIt for not following protocol......
But if the patient dies from some other cause and not because of the unconventional mthod of life-saving used, then no, the doctor will be exonerated from blame. -

why would u land in deep sh1t if the patient is dying in the first place? If the patient is normal and you cause his death due to your suckiness then you will land in deep sh1t, but if patient suddenly go into critical condition and is abuot to die it cant be your fault.

I'm not a doctor but I dont think theres some sort of a strict rule saying "you can only do this." Sure there are protocols but when its a life and death crisis I think the doctor should do what he thinks is right. -

Ok lar, serious lar, save lor. As doctor it's his responsibility to save people what, if the law says otherwise you are saving a life here, so it is wrong even to safe someone's life? -
