  it's really windy as compared to the mitsubishi fan....
  and my dad said our KDK fan is already more than 25 years old...

  Any model by Mistral is good. The cheapo fans you get from the likes of HomeProud don't last - the motors burn out within 2 months of daily usage.

  Don't buy those japanese brand... very ex. I bought a cheap 50$ china fan and its very powerful, although not as refined as other brands. I think name is Toyomi-ion tech from mustafa. Have to assemble some parts tho.

  PowerPac is quite powerful. But dunno how lasting can they be. I've got 2 sets at home...going strong for over a year already. Using almost everyday.
  Used to have quite a number of other cheap brands but all failed around 6 month time.
  
  For expensive option. I have a KDK. Used for over a year too. Expecting it to last for some time to come. Also have a Takahi high velocity air circulator fan. Using since 98 and still going strong. Almost never use the last two beyond the lowest speed settings as they are quite powerful. National is pretty good too. Have one used for over 10 years already.

  Air con are using alot of electrcity.!Use Air cooler....save energy & cool air.
