White translucent stuff in water

Recently I noticed white translucent stuff in my water supply as I keep water in plastic PET bottles after cooking. After keeping for some time, these stuff will appear. They will float around in my water. I don't know what is happening to our water since you have all sorts of recycled water in it. I wonder if anyone met the same problem or noticed anything wrong abt our water recently.

Sometimes it may be due to the pipes or the rubber tubings in your house... If you try filling your bottle at watercoolers, you see these white things too... Dont think it's harmful... At least im still alive...

I think the problem lies with the plastic bottles. They arent meant to be reused again so by right you shouldnt even put water into the plastic bottles. The plastic will wear off as time passes, and even more so if you put warm/hot water into plastic bottles. Anyway plastic is carcinogenic (causes cancer) so refrain from reusing plastic bottles.
