Any problems with the Current Hand held tools??

  Appealling to all Sgforumers:
  
  Any Problems you faced when operating any current Hand held tool in the market??
  
  Hand held tools that is manually operated by the muscular strength of the hand ( Eg: manual egg whisk)
  or a hand held tool powered by a power driven-driven mechanism.
  (Eg: a powered drill)
  
  Btw I am in Industrial Design.
  Currently doing a hand held tool project.
  
  Any one with idea please contribute.

  My thread must have gave you inspiration
  Errr... sometimes those screw driver tend to flatten the grooves in the screw, dust tends to fly when you drill holes in walls... Hope it helps!

  easy rectification
  
  first u have to get the proper tools
  correct size tools won't round your screws.
  another problem is probably the technique.
  
  if u use a huge philips screwdriver on a small philip head screw, it will surely be rounded.
  
  that's why people came up with interchangeable screw size heads.

  if u really wanna help the industry...
  
  try making this.
  
  a tool that will remove ROUNDED screws.
  that would help a lot more, seriously.
  
  currently, the only way to get it out is to drill it.

  When I use the grinder hor, got the spark deflector, no matter how and which direction I grind hor, always got sparks flying in my face leh.

  Round head srews are mostly used in metal work. The only way to use a screw is to screw it using a screwdriver or drill it in and drill it out.

  just to give u a clearer picture.
  
  right now the procedure goes like this :
  
  1) i start to remove an item
  2) the head gets rounded
  3) i suck thumb and i have to get someone else to remove the screw using a drill
  
  now, it would really help all of us alot if u could think of some way to remove that screw with some tool besides an electric drill.
