Singaporean = Identity Crisis?

Singapore is becoming more than a multicultural country. With the falling birth rates, increase in foreign talents, newly converted Singapore PR's and 'easily'newly converted Singaporean Citizens. How do we define ourself as a true blue Singaporean and is being a Singaporean really that special? Or are we facing identity crisis?
At the pace Singapore is going... in 'x' no. of years Singapore will be to expensive to live. Only the rich Chinese, Ang Moh, Inidan and Malays can afford to stay. Sad to say mostly are foreigners!
Most of the non-rich, which are mostly true blue Singaporean Chinese, Malay and Indians will probably stay in Malaysia (Johor Bahru).
Then it will introduce another racial issue ...Sigh...

Honestly, the bearing of national identity is within each self... What disgusted me is the so-called "honest" new citizens who just want to cash in on their status and f.o. back to their original motherland after they have milked enough their cows, not caring two-hoots on their newly conveted national identity... -

they are multi-cultural, from other countries etc. but the pple there still call themselves swiss.
singapore isnt really all THAT multicultural.
i just feel that the country progressed too fast for a 'singaporean culture' to develop. and now it's all just a mess... -

I am Singaporean and i am Chinese. Very proud of these 2 heritage that flow within me.
