  which hotel good? and any things worth to buy over there?
  i might be going there in july.. now in planning stage.

  Go on June , July ???
  So freaking hot.... lol... should try to go during winter.
  But July or August, probably, u can catch summer sale.
  
  No need to plan so much time to go to Macau...
  Macau is only gambler's paradise, probably some shops and some potugal sightseeing Their minimium bet $50 sing dollar..
  U can try to go shenzhen ... easy to go ... just sit Rapid train can reach there... And shenzhen shopping and dim sum is cheaper than HK
  
  And recommendation ??? hmmm... I guess u have to tell us who u go with .... lol... very important... .:p

  A couple of months ago, I heard that most retailers in HK no longer accept the HK1000 notes due to the increasing counterfeit HK1000 notes that have been circulated in the market....Do you know if this is still true today? Most money changers in Singapore only issue HK1000 notes and this will be a problem if most retailers in HK do not accept the HK1000 notes.

  china town. never change ur sgd in airport or hongkong, u'll suffer. if u left any extra hkd after the trip, change it back to sgd in hk.

  i think nov - dec period weather very good!
  
  ShenZhen! cheap and good dim sum!!!
  but be careful there, lots of pickpockets and snatch-thefts (at least the last time i was there...)
  
  what's the cost of the air ticket now?
  (including fuel-surcharge and airport tax...)
