Need help on question on law

Hi,
My car got bang from behind by someone from behind. He is so unreasonable that he refuse to pay or let his insurance company pay !!! Insist want to suing me instead - because he think that his car bang into mine will not cause any damage at all base on his own judgement and i should not be claiming against his insurance.
Anyway someone claim to be his lawyer call me today - i was wondering isn't that against ethics of his lawyer calling me directly . Shouldn't he/she be talking to my lawyer instead. Any one who is knows they law please advice has any lawyer ethics or code of conduct been broken.
Also after that the idiot call to threaten me .... on the phone ! - Also please advice if he does that again. At what stage can I take legal action to stop the harrassment and verbal abuse ? -

I will then contact the insurance company with the other person's car licence plate number.
If the lawyer calls, I will have the right to remain silent. The lawyer cannot do anything. -

The same goes with what happened to my gf. A truck driver knocked the back of his truck into my gf's car when changing lanes. It was a sudden swerve by the truck driver. It was quite obvious the truck driver was in the wrong.
However, the moment he stepped down, he threatened my gf.
Of cuz the necessary step was to report to insurance for the damage was very great. It was found out in the end that the truck driver had not reported not reported to his company or the insurance. Furthermore, the company could not contact the truck driver anymore. -
He is at fault.
Buy a recorder. When he scold you record it, can use as prove next time. Control your anger... don't fall into their trap.
Bang from behind. On the surface he might need to pay, but are you in violation of the traffic law? -
If you have not retained a solicitor to represent you, then naturally his would contact you. Of course, what he can say is highly regulated and subject to a number of rules. There is no point pursuing a frivolous claim against his lawyer; it would reflect badly on you and not assist your claim.
I need more info. but at this point, you should have contacted:
1) Your insurance provider
2) Your lawyer

If you want to bring a civil case of assault, much more is needed than mere rage; in any case, it is unnecessary to actually record the contents of the conversation. The law is not so naive as to base it's judgment on the words said although that will be a point of consideration in evaluating the elements necessary in making out assault. -

Don't need scare of his lawyer mos tlikely his lawyer is fake one... And record his voice and if possible caller id or watever.... inform the police for whatever evidence... I think the threatening thing not sure if it could amount to anything in common sue... but at least try.

I once got involved with in a car accident with a truck driver as well. He was aggresive, vulgar and to be honest, smelt really bad. Essentially, it opened my eyes to the differences subsisting between the differnet classes in Singapore. -
Well he sad fact was he was totally at fault - there is no arguement on it, even his insurance company find that too, they are willing to pay but begging for some discount ...
