  it all depends on your footwear....dat time i went to the plaza in front of my house...i trie going up the stairs but very hard sia.....the slippers i wore was so slippery i can't even stand up straight on the stairsi had to pull myself using the railings....lol

  Avoid wearing rubber soles...
  There is actually a kind of attachable spikey soles tat is sold in countries that have snow. Or u can buy special winter shoe... This winter shoe does not keep yr feet warm but prevent u from slipping...
  
  haha... I remember that time my friend told me to wear SAF combat boots to hokkiado... he say tat it is very shiok... haha.. I believe him and end up falling to ground every few steps...

  Spikes are good only for breaking/melting ice underfoot. The worst you'll encounter here is probably an oil slick or soapy water on marble. And he recommended the boot because of the insulation and nothing else.
