go get a shoe with warranty...normally branded goods should be better......buy expensive shoes with good quality.....they last longer....i have been using my adidas F10 since its release and i also use it for almost everywhere and everytime i go out...until now still ok..although the sole getting thinner due to friction....Originally posted by mistyblue:I buy a pair of Charles and Keith, in 1 week, the rubber drop off the heel.
I buy a pair from shoebox, after 3 wear, the strap broke
I buy 1 pair of walking shoes from Chinatown shoeshop and in one week, the sole wanna drop off.
I buy 2 pairs of Hush puppies. The design is so bad it cuts into the flesh and the shoe is not designed with proper support, causing blister, in 3 wear, I throw away the shoe cause fed up.
I am waiting to try my Ally brand shoe and see if the quality is better. But this one look aunty.
Very hard to find working shoes that don't break apart in 1 week.
Go for the Nike Air Shox range. They are pricey, but much sturdier then those air filled pockets one.Originally posted by ditzy:Today I finally took out the pair of converse I kept for 3 years after my nike ones open mouth, air leaked already.![]()
yea the design was the single reason I don't buy pretty fit.Originally posted by mystee:pretty fit got pretty good critics from magz, saying the shoes is stable. but i dont really like the design.
aye, that pair cost me 40 bucks. I can get more lasting ones at cheap rates.Originally posted by ditzy:I'd like to comment about charles and keith shoes, you get what you pay for.![]()
I had one pair from USR 3 inch heel and the uncle see me go to his shop every weekend and try just that pair, then he gave me extra 10% off just to let me have the shoe. That pair was really good but the leather expanded and my feet slip out the front...Originally posted by newbie06:Seriously i think URS shoes ery long lasting.. try & buy those half insole, will help to prevent ur feet from slipping out.
one pair of insole can be use in multiple shoes.. cos u dun hv to stick it to the sole.
I like to wear open toe shoes with ankle straps.Originally posted by mystee:

agree with that..Originally posted by newbie06:Seriously i think URS shoes ery long lasting.. My mum had abt seven pairs and she bought it quite long ago and till nw still in good condition.. THUMBS UP TO URS!!
i think ur feet is too slim like mine.. cos we dont have fresh to hold the straps.. thus when we are walking, the friction between the feet & strap will cause the most hated blister.Originally posted by mistyblue:I like to wear open toe shoes with ankle straps.
The straps holding the front do expand because it was a croco leather
My feet don't like to work to grip shoes, so no mules, slip ons, toe grip, or even court shoes of certain designs. I also don't like rounded toe box shoes. They look kiddie and leaves too much space that my toes get blister.
Yea. Sports shoes, I also use insoles. I tend to buy shoes a little tighter so that my feet don't rub so much and get blister. I make the shoe grip my feet instead. I have what I call - lazy feet syndrome.Originally posted by mystee:i think ur feet is too slim like mine.. cos we dont have fresh to hold the straps.. thus when we are walking, the friction between the feet & strap will cause the most hated blister.
try & buy those half insole, it will reduce the chance of ur toes from slipping out, can be use for open toe shoes as well.. it helps for me.. hope it does for u too.
C&K heel rubber didn't even had the chance to get worn off. It just broke into 2 after 1 week of wear (n fact it was not worn everyday - its alternative day) This is really bad material for shoe. The metal nail in the heel makes the shoe unstable and slippery on hard or tile floors.Originally posted by elindra:Buy U.R.S
Their shoes really last and they are comfortable too
The shoe is still good after I've worn off the rubbersole of the heel.
I can wear it for around 2 heel replacements.
nah.. the insole that i m referring is not for sport soles.. are for open toe shoes..Originally posted by mistyblue:Yea. Sports shoes, I also use insoles. I think its not because I have slim feet. I just have small feet. Nowadays the common size is 7. I am about 5.5. its not easy to find shoes that my a size 5 feet look good. The sad thing is I am 1.64m tall. So the small feet has to support quite a bit of weight, plus I had sprained my knees and ankle and so I really need good and steady shoes.
