Yes,if being able to say hello counts then I speak all languages so people should explain why they are able to speak many languages.
My father side of the family was from Pattani (Thailand) which explains why I speak Thai and Malay.Mother is Peranakan which explains why I speak hokkien and more Malay.I have lived on the border of Thailand/Laos for a few years and since laotian and Thai are like Indonesian and Malay it is easy for me to pick up Laotian.I worked in Latin America for several years and that was how i learned Spanish.left Singapore to become a Japanese citizen15 years ago and so I speak Japanese every day now.My third and presnt wife is Indonesian.So what is your story??
