firstly, i will reduce gst to 3% and cut hospital fees by 75%.
secondly, i will stop the singapore mint from printing money so that the value of money don't increase(meaning price of money won't go up)
thirdly, increase each worker's pay by 15% of their original salary.
fourthly, buy more land from foreign countries and since the land maybe far away from singapore, separate the land from the place it used to belong to and connect a bridge so that the land people can go to singapore.
fifthly, buy trains/buses no matter whether its old or new, but sturdy, fast and exquisite so that transport is made much more easier and accidents that is caused won't cause too much harm at all (example: bus crash on car, bus not even scratched at all, no dents at all)
lastly, extend national day holiday by a week. -

Decrease GST to 3%
CPF scheme change back to the old type where you get your money at one shot. If not how to survive with a few hundred a month? Want to go holiday also cannot.
Let the people have more privacy, whats with getting sued because of walking around naked in your own house, and how come our own ISP don't protect us and can give out our private information to any Tom, Dick, Harry.
Lastly, since people say need NS, I won't abolish it. But make it 9 am - 5 PM. After 5 PM you can choose to stay in, or go home and sleep. And you don't need to shave your hair bald, whats the point anyway. Increase their starting allowance to $500. After they get a vocation miminum pay should be $800. Oh ya, serve 1 year enough.

Deduct minister's and PM's pay. Same goes for the President.
GST will be reduced to 4.5%.
NSFs will have a higher pay, but the "no scolding of vulgarities" etc will be removed.
Make our worker's union NTUC do some job bout the commoners' pay.
Medical Fees will be subsidized.
Increase on our defense budget.
Emphasize on meritocracy in all fields of work, especially Government agencies.
Ask MOE to modify their scheme of work to be less stressful about our studies.
Request our local Universities to reveal their quotas on how students are enlisted.
Military polices will be replaced by specially trained polices to prevent arguments on abusing of powers and intrusion of rights. -
Gst to increase to 6% instead of 7.
Spend less on education.
Spend more on beer and liquor (give public assistance to those who cant afford beer/whisky/brandy)
Next, I will pass the most important law, SgForums will be taken over by government.
The result is a happy population, and no-nonsense SgForums !!

it is very easy to rattle off a whole list things you want to do to change singapore and it all seems so common sense and easy and you'll think why pap is so stupid and incompetent.
but once you are really the government and you see the whole picture, you'll realise why some things just cant be done, and why some things have to be done in certain ways. if you became the government, are you sure you have the ability to run a country in the way you vision it to be?
i'm not supporting pap here. but i just want to point out this fact. -
