How much is your monthly income and at what age did you start drawing that amount?
At the age of 18, i'm already spending like 1k/mth. Too much? i still find it too little! Damn, with a mediocre result during my poly( haven't graduate yet) , i know that i'm screwed up! The thought of earning 1.5-1.8k after graduating worries me.
i really dont know what to do now

Wow... spending $1k/mth will certainly kill me... I don't earn very much more than that....
Just thinking how poor families are able to support a family of 2 kids with combined income of $3k or so... -

my sis earns $6k+++....
she says that if u do not include paying bills (hp, insurance, car loan, etc...)
she prob spend less than $800 a mth..
if u earn, and then spend what u earn, i dun tink there's any other avenue to save $$..CPF is not enuf man..if for example u live 20more yrs after u retire..
especially for guys...excluding those golden turtles, we need to save up for marriage, to buy a house, etc...i tink its must to manage the finances well.. -
i spend about 1K per month, plus bills and everything. but then again im much older than u. i still save enough.

I think I'm pretty successful....
I dun earn as much as others probably do but I'm successful in keeping my expenses and liabilities in control so that I still have a little surplus at the end of each month......
