What happened to Further Mathematics (A levels)?

It used to be offered as a subject in A levels. But now Maths has changed to H1, H2 and H3 mathematics.
I heard H1 maths is for arts student. So H2 maths is the new Maths C? H3 maths is F.maths? -

it is not really like it but you can sort of say H2 is like math C, and H3 is like your F math or S paper.
and no H1 maths is not for arts students. who said arts student cannot do maths? -

Last time, Further Mathematics was one of my most studied subject. (Group Theory, Various forms of Integration (by parts and by subtitution), Statistics and Mechanics....all are valuable foundations when I studied Engineering in NUS.
When I took all 5 Engineering Maths modules in uni, I began to hate maths.
Anyway no need to worry about complex and vector calculus anymore. It is a good foundation training though. -

most stuff learnt in f maths is not very applicable (except in engineering course) that's why i think they decide to abolish it

Well I guess the proper way to say is those who have not taken Additional Maths in 'O' Level are required to take H1 Maths. Imagine those chinese students laughing at students who are struggling with "AO" Chinese and to them, probably that will also consider it be easy. -

Also, F MAths is a foundation for those who wish to pursue higher maths modules in Uni. The many non-linear equations and complex equations in deriviatives in the financial markets requires most students who have strong Maths knowledge and foundation.
The course in Financial Engineering require students with high level of mathematical skills.

H2 Maths is mostly on C Maths content plus some F Maths stuffs (like Linear Regression, and De Movire's Theorem) ... Pure Maths 60% and Stats 40% ... questions set by Cambridge are all compulsory.
H1 Maths focuses more on the Statistics part of H2 Maths. Pure Maths in the H1 level here is very A-Math like and very condensed, and it accounts for only 40% of the grade. Statistics follows closely with H2 Maths (minus Poission Distribution) and it accounts for 60% ... and if you're wondering if H1 Maths = AO Standard. You are hell wrong.
H1 Maths also contains Linear Regression, a once F Maths topic
Anyway, I also studied H3 Maths in NUS once ... haven't received my grades yet but it seems to be like F Maths as well (Vector Spaces, Linear Combinations and such)... just that it's a 4-month course.

But the probability probability of getting a royal flash which can be a spade royal flush, heart royal flush, (flowers?) royal flush and diamond royal flush is not (1/13)^5.
