yea no more already. certain parts of F.maths have been added into H2 math. but most of it is now in H3 math i think.Originally posted by HyuugaNeji:It used to be offered as a subject in A levels. But now Maths has changed to H1, H2 and H3 mathematics.
I heard H1 maths is for arts student. So H2 maths is the new Maths C? H3 maths is F.maths?
H1 maths is just, erm, O level additional maths?Originally posted by aiglosicicle:h1 math is so easy i think its an insult to the student's intelligence.
Well I guess the proper way to say is those who have not taken Additional Maths in 'O' Level are required to take H1 Maths. So it is also wrong to generalise that most arts student have not taken additional maths during O level.Originally posted by hiphop2009:H1 maths is just, erm, O level additional maths?
and TS is wrong to say dat H1 maths is for art students. a lot of arts students take H2 maths (which is equivalent to C maths)
If you are able to calculate the probability of the royal flush to be 1/13 to the power of 5 and also if you are able to calculate the conditional probability, you might calculate your odds in winning in the table.Originally posted by charlize:We need croupiers and card dealers these days.

Imagine those chinese students laughing at students who are struggling with "AO" Chinese and to them, probably that will also consider it be easy.
I applaud you for your effort in giving F. maths a good name.Originally posted by EngAudListCo_Director:If you are able to calculate the probability of the royal flush to be 1/13 to the power of 5 and also if you are able to calculate the conditional probability, you might calculate your odds in winning in the table.
Also, F MAths is a foundation for those who wish to pursue higher maths modules in Uni. The many non-linear equations and complex equations in deriviatives in the financial markets requires most students who have strong Maths knowledge and foundation.
The course in Financial Engineering require students with high level of mathematical skills.
If you think Study F Maths for @#$!, Think again.
