Japanese Cultural Society is the cheapest and better structured Japanese Language School around in Singapore.
They teaches you the Hiragana which is the basis of Japanese Language. With that, you can read most Japanese text or understand some Japanese words & pronouciations in most Japanese Comics.
Try them only if you are seriously interested in the language. I am not sure...but I think the school fees last time was only $38/- a month. Maybe they have increased it, but it shouldnt be more then $150/-
Are you in Secondary School or Poly? You can actually check with your schools whether they provide such language courses or can subsidise your language courses?
I understand we have 'o' levels japanese exams and polys provide Japanese language training for some business or engineering students.
