The poly dip cert you hold also affects the courses you can take... Like Biz, you can't pursue an Eng degree
opt for poly n most important choose a course which is relevant in psychology, then ur chance will be guarantee much higher than those who study in jc as this is ur speciality.Originally posted by davidche:I am definitely going to university for further studies, possibly psychology.
I gauge my o-level results as about 12pts, after cca dedcution.
I am not in a Uniform group or sports, im in a performing arts.
So based on my description, would you recommend me to go JC or Poly.
Thanks a lot for your opinions!!

Good not just merit only... is a certain % of your cohort..
But doesn't apply to all courses... poly grads still can't take a medical degree.
Overseas uni can... but SG uni no. Unless your grades are good.Originally posted by darkensun:Eh??? I think can... I have senior who went to business in Uni(oversea though) who is in engineering...but his GPA very high

What's his diploma in the first place? Unless your grades are really great, one can't just switch courses, whether or not you are in top 10%.Originally posted by mystee:actually i m not too sure myself too.
but there was a year, whereby a JC student has an average grade of C. He cant get into the course he wanted but he was given an entry to EEE.
& a poly student who is a top 10% was rejected from EEE.

divide by 5 polys = 12 students from each poly nia. and any business courses can apply with advantage le, not only specifically from accountancy course.
