I think looks + personality are the most sought after.
I've got a friend, his face lots of scar from acne, but he is pretty good looking and good personality. He is sought after too! -

He looks like the normal fat boys next door.
Goes to vendor meetings with his 3 subordinates who are all older then he is.
He keep quiet sit there listen.
Then the vendor, at the end of the talk will always turn to his subordinates and ask questions.
The subordinates will then later listen, then turn to him and say: Well Bozz, How about it?
The vendors will always eyes big big look at him unbelivably.
Everyone will always think that he is only 22 years old and possibly a intern from polytechnic tagging along on those meetings.
