I see a huge change in people perception on ITE. And as years passes, more and more people doesn't regard ITE as It's The End. It's those minority childish!Originally posted by outlaw-2:Seems that there are still people who are using the old, stereotype view on ITE.
ITE = It's The End
I find that an absolute rubbish. As a Mechatronics Higher-Nitec student in Dover ITE, I don't even see what's the end about it. But unfortunately, I've experienced the wide stereotype gap between Poly/JC and ITE, by who? The Poly students themselves. Yes, some were happy to mingle with, but there are a handful that kept their nose high up, as if they are sniffing for something. (You're a human, not a dog!) Really, I think it is time for Singaporeans who have the old perception of ITE to change, and accept the fact that ITE is now a college, and no longer a vocational institute. Heck, even the UN recognises ITE. Maybe that's where the Poly/JC are feeling sore about?
