the probability of finding earth in our solar system is roughly the same as searching of that ten cent coin you lost in the whole of US.
surely somewhere there's a planet teeming with life. And that's only the solar system mentioned. There are like billions of other star-system like the solar system in the milky way galaxy. BILLIONS!!!
And in the universe, there are again BILLIONS of galaxies like the Milky way galaxy out there. SO among the billions of galaxies which contain a billions star-system, how could they think we are alone?
IM pretty sure thr's other lifeforms out there. be it, physical form or other forms we have never even imagined of.
As of till date, the information sent out in lightspeed have not even reach a fraction of our milky way galaxy yet, how could it hope to reach the other billions of galaxies out there?
But maybe like how humans look at ants, we are far more superior advanced in technology to the ants, so much so that when we come across an anthill, we do not even bother to take a look at it.
Perhaps, some civilization have already spotted our signals but just that, we are of no use, and of little interest to them, they do not even bother to contact us.
Imagine somewhere out there, on a far-distance planet, there exists lifeforms, how different could they be from us? the way they look, eat, hunt, their totally different technology resulting from entire different branches of science.
But if we are really alone out there, I read from a book where it kinda intrigues me, we could merely be an experiment in small part of the galaxy's nursery. Just like how humans confine animals to a location where they perform experiments and observe their habits, lifestyle etc. We are merely a puppet in this grand show of the "Gods" who wished this.
I doubt many 'scientists' would outright reject the possibility of extra terretrial life. Those who do r probably a miniscule minority... why do u even bother about them?
