you like criticizing Islam so much eh? haizzOriginally posted by mhcampboy:Why does it matter?
Allah Himself says in the Quran, ONLY He will give "hidayah"(guidance) to people he wishes to....
So I do not think its anyone's fault if they moved out of Islam....
Besides, why must Muhammad be the messenger? Why not Moses? Why not Jesus? Why not Jacob? Why not Abraham?![]()

not 1 to slam religions or faith. but i think there is research done that people realise more gud things happen; bus come earlier etc. when they pray cos they are more optimistic and like the heart is willing for gud things to happen. hmm perhaps there is a scientologist around to explain? hmm maybe i nt making sense here..Originally posted by Imotep:well, i did started this thread just to know more malay christians. Not trying to say who is right and who is wrong.
I did wrote my story on my conversion down and I'm just being happy as a Christian. After being a Christian, I'm more relaxed and it seems that I'm at peace, finally. I was always an angry kid and I can never understand what I was reading in Arabic during my childhood days. I find that it interfere with my studies back then. To me, if I cannot understand what I'm reading, how am I suppose to convey the message to my children after all.
In fact, I made a deal with Jesus or in actual fact, I challenged Him to show me the correct way and He did.
One testimony that I would like to share is that on Wednesday 2 weeks ago, I wanted to go to my cell group meeting and I was like doing a lot of work. So I tried praying and asking Him to make me more awake and alert so that I can finish my work on time to go to my meeting. To my amazement, I was wide awake a few minutes later and by icing on the cake, my Super came over and said that I do not need to do that particular work anymore because the error has been found.
Well, after I left, on my way to the MRT, I found that the lights are all in my favor. When I went down to the MRT station, the MRT came on time and even the bus which usually came at a snail's pace came early and not just one but TWO buses.
I get to my meeting place 20 mins faster than the expected time.
In life, we do have to keep an open mind. If we don't, we would only destroy ourself.
As for me being an angry kid back then, I'm ok now because of one verse which said: "Be angry yet do not sin; Do not let the sun go down with your anger".
I've been keeping this verse in mind and right now, I'm just a regular happy guy.
The things which Jesus did for me before and after my conversion really changed my perspective.

correct me if im wrong isn't jesus the son of god? since when did he become god?Originally posted by laoda99:Of coz, it is impossible for a man to die for another's sin.
But if it is Jesus, it is possible becoz he is God.
At least this is what we Christians believe.
