My version of my "Wu Zi Tian Shu" during my Secondary School days is whether the question can DO or NOT. No such things as harder or easier.Originally posted by ndmmxiaomayi:Mug and mug.
I think prelims is harder.![]()
What the hell? Don't listen to this idiot.Originally posted by unclebutcher:tell u wat. follow my path. study 2 weeks before prelim. get 15 points l1r5. then mug like hell (go to school, come back and mug till 2 am everyday) then o level u will not bad(9-11 pts). or if u chao mug now confirm 6-7 point one but its a rare person who can do that. you'll prob. burn out before o levels.
for combined humans, spot questions (like i did- ss only study one chapter history only study 2 and get a1). spotting correctly is very important.
for a / e maths- a maths must do tys. e maths heck care also can a1.(like me and 97% of my school who got a1)
sciences must do alot of tys. o level repeats alot of questions, even for practicals. last yrs was potassium permanganate. may come out again dis yr.
chinese can heck.
engrand must read alorts of da noospapar. especially the behind pages near the weather section where they have the long long articles.
well that was my strategy last yr....haha.

Consistent work is your key to success. Consult your teachers, work out a plausible schedule with them and stay committed to it. Sometimes it's not the number of hours you put in that counts, but how productive you are during your study session. Look for a source of motivation in the form of smarter peers, parents' encouragement, self-betterment or hope of a better future.
If you want specific advice on certain subjects, just PM me since I probably took everything you're taking, and I did pretty well too I guess.![]()
stop playing neopetsOriginally posted by MichelleTan:when your prelims ? got timetable le mah? how you guys preparing for it?
you think prelims harder or olevel harder?![]()
haha. ok. in fact i did say if ts started now he/she will prob get 6/7 points. but i'm speaking from a viewpoint of what ppl around me and my friends do for o levels(in my class that is-i only did 7 subjects-getting 11 is an achievement since i have to count everything except chinese).Originally posted by RETARDED_MORON:What the hell? depends on your sch... most neighbourhood schools set prelims easier than O levels and ended up having most of their students being kicked out from prestigious jc. some autonomous and independent schools set the prelims until so hard that quite a number of students can barely enter jc and in the end, their results make the cut for top 5 jcs![]()
Whoa so aftr prelims where u spent yr 1st 3 mths?Originally posted by chaoyang:Yupps! Agree, I scored 20 over for my prelims but in the end still got an 8 pointer for VJC. Really its still the final real thing that matters in the end remember!
