I would like to invite all sgForumnites to participate in a fun, casual & friendly pool tournament, the details of which are below:

Format:32 Players
First round double elimination, then knockout to finish.
Essentially - you will get to play at least 2 different opponents in the competition. You need to lose twice before getting eliminated in the double elimination round. Elimination rounds will be best of 3. Knockout rounds best of 5 games. Rules are standard American 8 Ball rules.
But even if you get knocked out, don't despair! You still can play! After 24 players are eliminated, 4 tables will become FREE PLAY 'winner stays' tables for all participants of the tournament until the final round.

When completing your payment, you will be given a space to put a 'message to seller'. Please put your sgForums nick here. This nick will be used to credit the free premier membership, as well as to update the slots below and book your place.
You may also pay by ATM/bank transfer by following the
instructions here (amount to pay is $20). PM me the date you paid so I know who paid (keep your receipt!)
You may 'book' a place without paying by private messaging me (priority will be given to those who have paid first).
If you have paid but there are no more spaces left, I will refund your payment in full.
Important information:Fees are non-refundable. The competition will start at 2PM latest. Latecomers after 2PM will forfeit their places, and their places may be given to other people present at the event.
DON'T WORRY ABOUT 'POOL SHARKS'! We want to make this a casual and fun social event for our forumnites. As such, the entry fee comes with the equivalent value in Premier Membership
FREE, and there are no cash prizes but we have very nice sponsored pool cues with cases as well as 5yr Premier Memberships! Also, even if you get knocked out there will be 4 tables where you can play for free until the final round. We have done this pool tournament before in 2002 and 2003, let's hope we can revive the tradition! We promise it will be fun so do come down even if you are not participating to lend your support to your fellow forumnites, chit chat, put some faces to the nicks, KPO, etc etc!
There are only 32 places available. So to avoid disappointment, be sure to BOOK NOW!Other info:
We encourage all players to use the house cues but you may use your own cues if you want to.
