  Ever though of learning Sanda/Sanshou? The Chinese counterpart to Muay Thai? Very similar and they often pit the two styles against one another in leitai matches, and usually it's 50/50 chance of either winning(depends on the skill of the fighter).
  
  Probably very effective striking styles you could pick up, though for the ground fight I would pick BJJ, though you could go for a spraw-and-brawl kind of fight if you are not really into grappling and ground fighting.
  
  Learn some ground work though, a stand-up striker with no ground knowledge is at a serious disadvantage.
