  then i can do this also:
  
  408, 571, 332, 377, 577, 989, 664, ___
  
  let T(1) = 408
  
  i suggest T(n+6) = T(n) + 256
  
  so T(7) = T(1) + 256 = 408 +256 = 664
  therefore T(8 ) = T(2) + 256 = 571 + 256 = 827
  
  the next number is 827!
