are our local authorities equipped to handle bullying cases?

just out of curiosity, how many of you been bullied in schools?
and how many despite reporting feels it is completely useless?
was reading a report today in the straits time about a gal wanting to transfer school after she was targeted in blogs as "monkey".
Do you think that our MOE or teachers are equipped to handle these cases?
or they tend to brush them under the carpets and hope that the students work it out?? -

There are many ways to get back at your bullies.
Sometimes, they may even suffer more than you ever did. Wanting to transfer out just because of some name-calling simply shows a lack of willpower in overcoming or defeating your bullies, not to mention lack of lethal mindset. -

With today's parents being so protective of their little emperors and empresses, I only saw the number of bullying cases go up and never down.
