Msn contacts who you never meet for years

Is it weird or do you feel weird chatting with your Msn contacts when you have never seen them for a few years cos both sides never bother to initiate meet ups?

I hardly chat with a friend whom I only contacted via MSN for 3 years.
Now, we are so good friends and confidant.

It's precisely you have not met for years that you talk on MSN.
If meet everyday still need to talk so much on MSN for what? sms and face-to-face talking better. -
