Go report them to CASE. Think you should post this to as many different forums as possible and write to the newspapers. The things there are not even overly expensive but the people there are gangsters. I went in to take a look and was standing there for a few minutes when this f**king old man come to me and say what I want. I said I wanted to look at cameras then he kept asking me want or not. I said I look first. Then he ask me to go look outside. What the f**k? So I ask the stupid old man why is he being so rude. He then scold me the f word. So I of coz scolded him baq the f word and he want to use his fists on me. Den I immediately pushed him away and he kept taunting me to fight him. I'm not that stupid to fight him and just copied down the shop's name n he kept taunting me to fight him.
Then his co-workers shout and me to get away. Worst shop ever. I got edvidence that they over charged people.

anyway to complain about this?
SLS not as bad, but there ARE some shops on the first two levels which are pretty sneaky.Originally posted by junkieyuri:This point I must disagree. Sim Lim Square (SLS) is not a place for conmen. Speaking from personal experience because I do buy a lot of stuff from there. If you are talking about electronic consumer goods, I cannot be sure, but for computer components, I'm very confident this is not the case because every shop published some sort of a price list. That is why there's paper everywhere. They also display this price list in front of their shop & even publish on their hardwarezone website. So everybody knows what everybody else is selling what & at what price.
If you are talking about those electronic consumer goods shop, do not put everybody together. You are being misleading.
CASE is for complaing the thing you bought, this person did not buy anything, complain whatOriginally posted by rane:Go report them to CASE. Think you should post this to as many different forums as possible and write to the newspapers. BY doing this you are alerting the public!
I agree with you. My new comp(DIY) was bought at Sim Lim Square and the service there is quite good. The person over there explains in detail patiently when i ask him questions. The price is also quite cheap, whole comp $1.6k with above average components. If im not wrong the shop is called "Fuwell" or something.Originally posted by junkieyuri:This point I must disagree. Wow. power. How low these shops stoop to cheat. In broad daylight. Tarnish SG reputation.Originally posted by uaremyfayth:Ok news time, yesterday got 3 girls from brasil came to my place to buy camera, and they 3 bought a motorola mobile from downstairs, only 2 girls out of 3 buying camera, the girl who isnt looking for a camera was opening her box to check out her phone.
I was in for a shock, the charger batter and other stuffs are there, but no phone.
God, she was crying really badly, i pity her, but its also her fault that she didn't check before leaving. She went back and tried to talk things through, as u guessed it, she came back with a phoneless box again.
