I am a SLS regular.
MY ADVICES TO YOU IS.....
1. but only from authorised resellers.
2. If a deal is too good to be true, it probably is.
3. Don't expect deep discount nowadays, gone are the days where you can get $100-200 discounts.
Things like PSP, be lucky if they can sell you at $50 less.
4. do your research.
5. Buy local sets, it's not worth spending so much on a grey market set.

SLS is known for kotoking ( cheat plp by charging the price above RRP) .

those who sell at market price won't cheat you......those who sell cheap one will eventually pull you to sell you above market price believe it or not.....
their trick, make it seem as though its cheap but then after you pay, they will tell you that you need to buy batteries etc.....
here i will simulate one scenario....
guy enters shop.....
guy:uncle how much psp standard pack?
uncle: 249
guy
k i want the white one....
then the uncle will tell you you will get free game......
guy: cool.....
then uncle will ask if you wan buy memory stick
guy: nevermind lah...
then guy goes and pay ad uncle keys in a price mark of 300+ but guy has not enough money in his bank so the nets was rejected......
guy suspecting something he asks unlce how much and was surprised at the price.....then after that the uncle will say that the 249 was the old version....
then uncle say he will reduce the price and take away the "free" game, to around 270.....
guy agrees and pays......
after that when the uncle opens the box he told the guy that he had to buy the battery......
the angered guy then had arguements with the uncle and got his battery.....
