parent said study study must study
must become top in class , grow up can
become doctor , lawyer watever
cannot lose out!!!!!! -
mainly singapore la...coz its such a pragmatic society, keep focusing how impt cert is, how impt survival is...we r bred this way, therefore we think this way...

Life is not about money, it's just that you can't lead a reasonably comfortable life without money. Besides, who likes to suffer?
It's a fact you can't change. Best thing to do will be to adpat to this less-than-satisfactory system. -

Most children nowadays have been stress again and again how important is studies going to help us...
Some adult even say studies is the most important thing we must have...
The reason that we need to study is because we need to get a good job...
Mindset have change... Money seems to be the most important thing that a human wants...
One after one, influence after influence, people start to live only for money...
Children also got the influence and only think about money...
Teacher saying study is a must as it will lead us to a good career with good income...
Things have change...
World have change...
Influence... Such a powerful thing... -

1)Get married / Set up family
2)Support your parents
3)Pay for medical expenses
4)Pay bills
5)Buy / Fix the air conditioner when the weather is so hot
6)Buy necessities
Last but not least, you need enough money to get out of SG. -

I tot senior citizen get support? My grandma got loads of support, rice, oil etc...
2)Medical expenses? I go to the doctor only when it gets too bad....when i get migrain, most of the time i dun even take panadol.....
4&5)thats the problem with people here nowadays......the average singaporeans spend on their house with aircons are more than 300 bucks or more.....my family spends only 170 at the max
6)In many Singaporeans or you could say those below middle aged men,s definition of necessities are my definition of unnecessary stuffs....... -
