  to my understanding, foreign unis (or at least the ones i checked out) requires the prospective student to have at least 2.5

  so wat? u may have a lousy transcript. but at least it is a diploma n i believe u go outside find job, it is ur job skills n knowledge dat make u suitable for the job.
  
  it's true employers look at academic results, but this only apply on ur 1st job. if u do not perform well in ur job, u r as good as academic-oriented.
  
  meanwhile just continue hanging on in poly. do ur best in ur project wif ur course-mate. u may not get the result u want but it is important to gain lesson n experience throughout this project.

  dont aim too high since no matter how well you do your GPA cant improve much.. just a pass and slightly better can liao.
  
  i dont intend to go uni, because they dont have the courses i want, so i just aim for a slightly-better pass for the subject i dislike. For other subjects that are okok (i like, or i know i can do well if work hard enough), i do my best
  
  for project just try to do yourself, if dont know then ask friends for help, at least show them your not lazy but actually try to attempt the project and not just goin around askin for answers....
  
  project wise just try to score as high as possible.... normal tests also try to score as high as possible.... so that when exam comes you dont have a hard time to balance things out, as in project you score very low, tests you score very low, then exam you gotta score A to pass that subject.... like that suc.ks right? Exam also try to do your best
  
  goal is to clear all modules and dont repeat, and to get out of school asap
