World Of Warcraft - Needs Assistance

  Dear all,
  I am a Warcraft DOTA lover and has been playing it for years. However, I have noticed that WOW is a very popular online game and was thinking of buying the CDs.
  
  However, I have some questions. Hope WOW players can guide me along.
  
  1) Do I have to buy the Classic WOW as well as it's expansion pack (Burning Crusade) to play the game?
  
  2) I went to their website and it offers TONS of information. Can anyone just briefly guide me on how to start playing the game? E.g. how to I pay the subscriptions/technical aspects etc/how to play etc

  1) U may choose whether to buy the expansion pack together or later. The expansion unlocks new characters like Blood Elf and Draenei. As well as a new continent. If u wish to play the new races, then buy it together. if not when ur lv 50+ go buy it to go to new continent
  
  2) u can buy wow ppc at cyberactive, etc

  1) No you don't have to buy Burning Crusade but you can't access the Dark Portal nor the Blood Elves or Draenei
  
  2) Err how to play depends on the class you want to play
  How to pay you can buy the timecards or just pay via credit card

  they are free if u play private servers. juz need the game cd to install thats all then change ur realm to private one can liao

  You have to buy Both WOW and Burning Crusade.
  I advise you to look online on Ebay or Yahoo SG Auctions for second hand accounts, there are some reasonably cheap ones with almost the same price as the originals.
  
  If you have credit-debit card, on installation, they will ask you to register on the Blizzard website and enter ur card info. After that, u select ur subscription either for 1 month, 6 months, etc, then you can instantly play.
  
  IF NOT, when u buy ur game, buy also a GAME CARD, with a unique code at the back. Go to e website and register as per normal, then enter in ur card no for a 30 day subscription.
  
  There are many ppl quitting WoW and BC nowadays, I think u can get cheap accnts second hand (: Hope this helps

  One word caution is that for 2nd hand accounts, there is a chance that it is stolen
  There have been a spat of lost accounts lately so becareful if you decide to buy a 2nd hand account
  Coz Bliz will return the account to the original owner and you might end up without an account and a few hundred bucks.

  tip: just buy the original game
  
  and if u have spare cash and is a wow addict, use it to buy gold

  I wouldn't suggest buying gold coz it's against the TOS
  But if you want to, don't get caught
