It's like that one, I understand. Cause me also prelim time never study hard play games. Then L1R4 result come out is 28. After that I scared liao, start to study seriously. The story? Don't worry, you will see them start to study after the prelim result is out. You don't want them to study also cannot. -

in my school it wont affect anything... but if still can fail prelims... a'level how to score?? -

Prelim is like a wake-up call and 'forces' you to prepare for the exams.
I screwed up my A levels prelim....But I didnt lose heart cus I knew my main objective was the actual A levels exam so I worked hard towards it. -

I got F O E for my prelims and it was so bad that my form teacher told me I was one of the few students in class in which he assume that we will not be able to enter local universities and I should be considering SIM or private universities (no offense to SIM people pls).
In the end I proved him wrong. Not trying to show off, but my advice is that examination is like a long war. If u 'pia' too early, u may lose ur momentum and burn-out early..
Focus on the ultimate goal, have a study plan, stick to it no matter what, keep urself healthy, hope for the best, but be prepared for the worse.

all exams are important. take me for example. i slack for prelim o level tio 15 pts. go to XJC. then o level i 11 pts can go QJC. but hor, i 11 pts -2 cca =9. QJC need 7 points. so if i had studied hard for prelim and tio the -2 loyalty pts, i in QJC liao. but unfortunately....

there are 2 choices:
carry on mixing alot with ur frens wo do not study (btw, some of them like my fren is act dun care in sch, at home do tons of assessment bk)
or
start studying (break own the topics into many, accomplish 1 by 1. when finish all topics, go for higher level of them (more challenging assessment books) -
