  You can try visiting the beach road army market.
  
  Its the 2nd/3rd floor of the Golden Mile Hawker Centre.
  
  I usually buy those light stick/bracelets from Concourse Top Level Party Favours/stationary shops.
  
  You can also go to Bugis Village, lots of those party favours shops at the side between KFC & Macdonalds.
  
  try for the thin connect-able strips, you can make bracelets & necklace. Or use it to spell out names.

  Nee Soon Camp. The road to look up on the map is Transit Road.
