A situation about booking air tickets

  Hi all, I have some questions regarding booking air tickets. It's known that some air airlines provide cheaper air ticket prices for 2 persons and above. For example that you are the only one travelling, and the price for 1 person is much more expensive. Have any of you tried like looking online, in forums, for another person who is travelling on the same dates as you, so that the price would be cheaper for 2? Not sure if my queries are clear enough. I have a few foreign friends who does it this way in their own countries. But I'm not sure if this idea works in Singapore. Thanks.

  whether u book for 1 or 2 is the same price lah brother.

  I've not tried it before. It won't be easy to find someone who leaves and returns on the same day and at the same time as you.

  For air tickets --- the price is the same
  For tour package --- the price is different. It will be cheaper to go on 2 than go on 1

  difference not much but at least there are SOME savings.......

  dun have to be frens
  but must travel within the same period
  booking must be made at the same time with both names and passports
