Medical check up at JB

Anyone got any experience? I got a friend who does this for the last 5 years and swear by it. I am wondering if I should do it there in view of the cost..

if u dun mind the robberies and the rapes, u can try
but anyhow, i still prefer to trust SG docs.

Cost wasn't a problem to me last time, but today different leow, me and wife will get quite a saving. Anyway, mediacal report is more important lor .. but today Straits Times mentioned Malaysia hospital doctors and nurses don't wash wash hand one .. a bit scare .. u cant blame all the doctors in SG cuz just 1 made a mistake..

I sincerely asking for anyone having the experience in going there for check-up .. what is their opinion .. it is not necessary that I will go lor .. having make up my mind . . . .

i think so long the doctor/hospital you go is reputable, i don't see any wrong going.
But please consider the following issues...
1. if there happen to be malpractice, do you think you can pursue justice in a foreign country?
2. even if you want and can, do you want to go thru the trouble?
3. you might not encounter malpractice, but you may encounter a practice that is perfectly legal in another country just that you are not used to it. you will also feel "cheated".
4. you also need to consider, should anything happen to you in future, do you rather go back to that country where your records are. or you go to a local doctor that don't have your history? In asia, medical reports are not that easy to transfer. -

What you say here is really true. Appreciate it. It does knock some sense into me now ... maybe go there for food instead of medical ... -

If you are sick..... do you think u could tarhan to go all the way to JB to see doctor
With High Fever or some bad cold or something...... do yu want to wait in line at the checkpoint, then wait some more at some JB clinic..... just to save some money -

yup, the medical records is an impt point to consider.....
if anything shd happen, i dun want to have any delays in fetching the information......
