my ipod drop to the floor..will spoilt anot ah..but was in a pouch and got put in silicon casing...anyway the drop distance is not very high, like from cpu to the floor..

with silicon cover wont, it will reduce the crash damage by alot. i drop alot of times liao my ipod but haven spoil. but if u really suay i dunno riaoz.....

the storage media of ipod is hard disk.. it is s fragile s a portable hard disk.. it will die even if u carry it while running..

What's the model of your iPod? Is it the 5th-gen iPod Video 30GB/60GB or the 1st-gen/2nd-gen iPod Nano? Last time I saw a video where they tested the iPod Nano..they dropped it from standing height, rode a bike and dropped it, drove a car at 15km/h and dropped it out of the window and at the end, as a kind of finale, drove a car over it!
Surprisingly, the Nano was still playing music even after being drove over..only the screen and scroll wheel spoilt..haha.. -
