Which job can earn great money?

I am a new guy for this country and this forum, I am trying to go to school study something. Actually, I don't know what I should to learn, beacuse some friend told me be a computer programmer will earn great money, some friend told me that is too late for my age, computer programmer only for young people, you can't do it when you are older.
Some people told me be a nurse or a tourist is a bright career, becuase Singapore will booming in the tourism and hospital industry in future within 2 years. It's really hard for me to make my decision which way I should be.
It would be great appreciate for your any idea and advice.

Tour Guide,my cousin is in this line,she's wid Commonwelth tour.Her pay 2 years back is bout $2-3k...cos got many incentive...
All jobs are good, jus that whether u hv the chance to do it good & big.PPl say ka-rang gunie poor, but some are rich,even sell hp or watches also can make it..
Right now i feel a air-steeweress is best if your situation is the same

Jobs that pay well, usually requires one of the following things.
Very high qualification, like doctors, lawyers, professors, chief accountants etc.
Many years of experience in a particular skill, like industrial related professionals, Chefs.
Jobs that dont require qualifications and experience are rare, but you need to be special or has high reputation in something. -
