Anyway the Japanese version, you can at China Square Central in ChinaTown.
The difference between Japanese version and US version is... erm... Japanese version got 1 sticker paste on the box that says Transformers in Japanese, the rest is the same, they even using US box.
But the 1 major difference is for the 74 BumbleBee, the Japanese version 1 has clear blue windows, while the US version, the window is painted over. And also there is a tendency for people to say Japanese version higher quality, paintjob better. But this time round, I am not so sure. -

From what I know Japanese version ( Clear Blue Window ), usually run a few times only, then they stop running the mould liao.
But US will keep churning out the moulds like no tomorrow. Got demand they supply. And after people get sick of BumbleBee, they will paint the thing another colour and sell it.
There will be no lack of US BumbleBees in future. Definately. -
One more thing, when Transformers movie 2 comes out in 2009, I got a feeling they will release everything again + the new movie toys.
