ask yourself, are you going to spend more than $500 overseas. If yes, then no point applying for it. $500 credit limit, u must as well pay cash. $500 credit limit is not attractive and does not help much.Originally posted by SpecOps87:Hi All,
Am seriously considering applying for CitiBank's Clear card, it requires no minimum annual income and has a limit of $500. As I'm going overseas at the end of the year, I believe it should come in handy.
What are your views?

Why don't you apply for the common credit card which can offer more? I am not sure what comes with the card that you mentioned. But common credit cards have benefits/perks like smart $, UNI$. The one I am using offer rebate when make purchase at certain places, and 12% discount for movie tickets, and other benefits.Originally posted by SpecOps87:Well...I'm actually single, and I don't spend much myself. Am able to save like 30% of my allowance monthly. But any advices from credit card holders out there?
Well, the Citibank card actually has the points thingy as well, and rebates, promo. And I don't wish to get a higher limit card as it will end up being a supp. card which is linked to my parent's,so yeah. Any of you guys used Citibank's cards before?Originally posted by qlqq9:Why don't you apply for the common credit card which can offer more? I am not sure what comes with the card that you mentioned.
